  • Dr. Jerry Cheriyan is a general and trauma surgeon with more than 20 years of experience caring for surgical patients. He founded Kern Surgical Associates to provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care to Bakersfield and Kern County.

    His practice focuses on minimally invasive and robotic surgery, including hernia and abdominal wall surgery, gallbladder disease, colorectal and anorectal conditions, breast surgery, soft-tissue masses, and wound care. He also welcomes complex cases and patients seeking second or additional surgical opinions, including referrals from other physicians and specialists.
